Meet the KRAV Ravioli Maker
Designed to process 6-inch wide pasta sheets and turn them into three rows of large pocket ravioli, the KRAV is best used in combination with the KSMPSA KitchenAid pasta sheet roller. It measures 10 1/4″L x 4 1/2″W x 3 3/4″H and includes:
* hopper
* filling scoop
* cleaning brush
Simply hand turn the KitchenAid KRAV Ravioli Maker and watch it pinch and seal in your choice of cheese, meat or veggie filling into perfect fresh, homemade pasta every single time.
The ideal pointed shape of the filling scoop helps the hopper expertly guide your chosen filling between the pasta sheets right into the corners for even distribution. The specially designed rollers of the KitchenAid ravioli attachment then pinch and seal the large pasta pockets.
Once you are done, it is recommended that you dust the attachment with flour and use the enclosed brush to remove any dried dough. Then remove the hopper and access the rollers by snapping open the white plastic levers at the bottom of the attachment. Wash the ravioli maker attachment in warm soapy water and rinse. Do not wash in dishwasher.

KitchenAid Ravioli Attachment Reviews
Opinions are widely split regarding the KitchenAid KRAV Ravioli Maker: people either love it or hate it! The first find that it does a great job with filling the ravioli without creating bubbles; they also love the easy hand-crank operation for precision control and appreciate the fast results and easy hand cleaning. People with special diets also find making their own ravioli cost efficient.
Naysayers find that it takes practice to master and would prefer an automated process – though it being manual gives you full control over the amount of filling you use. Some prefer larger ravioli, while others say that you must also buy the KSMPSA separately for a smooth operation.
The KitchenAid mixer ravioli attachment certainly requires more time and dexterity to master than other KitchenAid pasta attachments. But if making ravioli does not phase you and you have the time and patience required to master it, you might find the KRAV quickly becoming one of your favorite pasta making tools. In my opinion, homemade raviolis are the crowning glory of the pasta world. Filled with a meat, cheese or spinach concoction and accompanied by a tomato or cream sauce, it just doesn’t get any better! There is just something deeply satisfying in a bowl of exquisite ravioli which no other type of pasta can quite equal. But if ravioli isn’t your thing, you might want to take a look at other KitchenAid pasta maker attachments.
